ER Solutions compliment by Miss nubian
i work for a dept at ers. we are 3 part colections, debt has been overdue for 90 by the time we get, people try to act ike they have no knowlegde that they owe people money. maybe they think tht beacuse it a million dilloar corp they owe, that it is okay to not pay and think of every childlike excuse why not to pay. our clinet is a wireless carrier and the excuses we get, they would not dare tell the light, water or gas companies. in the end whatever the stall tactic, you still owe it and are not exempt from paying it or on it, read the contracts your signing and that way you won't be pissed off when we tell you your dispute is invalid, everyone is so juiced to use their gidget-gadget phone no one bothers to read the leaglly binding document they signed. the one that says if you dispute, that's cool you still need to pay and forward a letter of dispute. i could go on and on about it but don't get mad a company for following the terms of the contract and u didn't. read before you rip oopen the packaging and start blathering on to evryone and they momma. say what you want these corporations make contract for a reason, not to let you run up thousands of dollars in woreless charges and just chalk it up as a loss, you wouldn't why should they!!! something for all those debtors out there to ponder lol!!!!

Sorry, guy, but you fail. Your company consistently violates federal and other laws, there is no defending you scumsucking bottom feeders. Nice try, but epic fail.

I agree with a lot of these comments - mostly the ones that state that Miss Nubian needs to go back to school and pay attention more in English or at least hit the spell check before posting something on the internet. Obviously Debt Collection Agencies do not require literacy as one of their skills.

Yes, you're in debt, but I'm more likely to pay you if you're nice to me and attempt to work out a payment plan with me (I've never been contacted by debt collectors - but know of people who have). What is the saying?...You attract more bees with honey.

I wanted to make a comment to Miss nubian. I think that you need to go back to school for a little bit & pay a little more attention in the English Dept, as well as the spelling Dept. If you are the fine example of what people can expect when calling I can see why so many people are angry.

oh yea? you're not so bad there are you? I authorized a payment on a small amount of debt because it was so long ago that I couldn't remember if it was paid and just wanted to get it over with. Wrong!!! I found my printed confirmation from ERS that states that I submitted a payment and "Thanks your for your payment." Well, after digging even further, that amount seems to have never been taken from my account but was still forwarded on about 9 months later to a subsequent collections company! That subsequent company is the one I recently authorized a payment to. By the way, a representative from ERS told me yesterday that the transaction in July of 2007 never went through because there was no zip code on file. That is a load of nonsense since I paid it online via the secure pay site in August of 2007! The staff at ERS lost out on that money. If your company cannot keep track of its own finances, then who are they to be collecting money from me? These collection companies are in general thought to have the final say in debt or they can, in some cases, take the consumer to court. Be more aware consumers and validate the debt, keep all your receipts and do not authorize ANY payment until you are SURE you HAVE NOT ALREADY PAID THE DEBT! If you are unsure, contact the original creditor first!

Not every debt collector is bad...& as far as the comment about usage charges---I can understand that companies CAN make errors, but I guarantee you that every wireless carrier's account that has been sent off to collections wasn't sent off because of the wireless carrier's error. There ARE some people who will not pay their bills, for whatever reasons known & unknown to me. As far as Early Termination Fees, people should be more attentive to what they are signing in order to avoid being "unaware. " They're allowed to look over the contract terms before they sign for a reason: so they can opt to proceed w/the service or change their mind. There has to be accountability on the consumer's part--hence the contract. It is definitely a consumer's right to stay in debt, but that doesn't excuse a consumer from being contacted unless otherwise noted. A consumer has to get by in life with the things that they buy into, and the creditors, lenders, people providing services have to get paid. Come on now.

Wow ERS employee. Know the dif between your and you're? :grin Most of the time, the wireless companies bill in error or charge early termination fees that consumers were not fully aware of. Why stay with a carrier if the service is crap?

Your company is unprofessional. And by unprofessional I mean, acting outside the law. Do I owe money? You wouldn't be calling if I didn't. But there is a right and wrong way to go about it. Your letter is a fine example of what one can expect when you call. I do have to pay the bill, but I don't have to be talked to or even yelled at as if I am human garbage. Your job as a debt collector is one that doesn't have much security. I know a couple. Let's hope you never lose your job for any reason. Otherwise, you'll be subject to the same treatment when you can't poay your bills. On the flipside, maybe if you lose your job, you'll get to study up on your English. Your's ***. Get over yourself. You think you are better than us, but the truth is you're the human garbage.

For those being harrassed, search using the term "bill collectors" on the net for ways to legally protect yourself against unscrupulous companies who don't follow the law.
